Two Rivers Youth Group is a diverse group of crazy, God-hungry young men and women who want to see God’s kingdom expanded! The Word says, “every knee will bow, every tongue will confess”, and we want to bring more and more of today’s youth to a joy of knowing that One who everyone will be bowing to! We want you to come and visit us and see what God is saying to you today!

Purpose: Our student ministry exists to draw teens together while guiding them in how to share their faith, adore Jesus, and discover their ministry in an exciting way!

Why: Connecting to other believers is an awesome way to find friends, be yourself, and learn more about Jesus. Being a part of the student ministry will grow you as a Christian, as well as encourage you through others who go through what you go through every day.

Who: All teens in junior high and high school are welcome to be a part of the student ministry.

What we do: Wednesday nights at 6:45pm are reserved for all teens to come and be real before God in a time of praise, prophetic ministry, and teaching. Oftentimes we will discuss the realities and difficulties of being a teen, as well as the ways to receive all that God has for you. We have been seeing miracles! Come, it is always fun to talk to, and hear from God.

We try to plan at least one Youth Retreat each summer. Watch the weekly email for upcoming dates.

Friday, September 9:  PIZZA NIGHT/Freestone Treasure Hunt/Night Swim @ the Newton’s near Freestone park @ 6:30
Wednesday, September 21: Creative Expression Night
(praise God with your talents!)
Friday-Saturday, September 23-24:  Guys sleepover/Girls sleepover in separate homes @ 6:30pm and then Salt River Tubing the next morning

October

Wednesday, October 12:  Glow in the dark day
(wear the coolest glow in the dark clothes you can find!)
Friday-Sunday, October 14-16:  Fall Retreat- Leave @9AM for Sedona/Camping/Slide Rock
Return for Sunday morning service @ 11 PM
Wednesday, October 26:  Backwards night with crazy hair
(wear your clothes backwards or inside out)
Friday, October 28:  Night Hike from 6-10

November

Wednesday, November 2:  Twin Night (dress alike) & Christian Dance/Techno light show
Friday, November 11:  Geo caching and treasure hunt
Wednesday, November 16:  Futuristic Night
(wear something futuristic)
Friday, November 25:  BBQ/Fugitive Game Night @ the Newton’s near Freestone park @ 6:30

December

Friday-Saturday, December 2-3:  Acquire the Fire (Cost is $50)
Wednesday, December 7:  Full body (nothing skimpy) pajama night & hot cocoa
Friday, December 9:  BBQ/Game night at the Newton’s near Freestone Park @ 6:30
Wednesday, December 21:  Youth Christmas Party
Tuesday-Thursday, December 27-29:  Local Winter Retreat (Thursday possible trip to Flagstaff to play in snow!)
