College and Career
The Two Rivers Church College & Career group meets in the annex building (645 N. Gilbert Road, Suite 170) for a more relaxed atmosphere every Sunday afternoon after church from 1-2:30pm. Our vision is to help each other grow in Christ through discussion, worship and laughter. It’s a delightful part of the week, and a place where we make amazing friends that burn for Jesus! Our hearts are to see the Kingdom of Heaven advance on Earth, and we think our age group is an integral part of the move of God in this city. We believe God is powerful, supernatural, and is doing amazing things on the earth today. We get together to encourage one another and make friends with other like-minded, like-hearted people who live out of the Secret Place (the inner life with God) and go forth throughout the week carrying the presence and love of God to the rest of the world!
Purpose: The young adults’ ministry exists to draw young people together while guiding them in how to share their faith, adore Jesus, and discover their ministry in an exciting way!
Why: Connect with other dreamers, make lifelong friends, learn to operate in your giftings and calling, and encounter God alongside others.
Who: Anyone 18-30ish is welcome!. The group is currently comprised of a pretty even mix of college students and young career professionals.
What we do: First we eat. A lot. Then we talk, worship, hang out, encourage one another, pray for one another, and see Heaven invade the Earth! It looks a little different each time, but always enjoy ourselves greatly and leave recharged! Oftentimes quite a few of us hang out afterward and do anything from bowling to hiking to watching a movie to having an extended jam session/worship time on various instruments, to just milling around catching up on each other’s lives.
