Morning Men's Study

 All
men, high school age and up, are encouraged to attend.
This is a great opportunity for spiritual grown and
to know one another better. We are going to start with
a book titled "Every
Man's Battle". We'll read a chapter or two
per week and discuss what the Bible says bout overcoming
temptation and remain strong.
Group starts at 8am every Saturday. We're currently
in the middle of the book, but you can join anytime
- we promise you'll get something out of it whenever
you join! |

Men's Ministry
at Two Rivers Church

The purpose of the Men's Ministry at Lake City Church is
expressed in Colossians 1:28: "That we may present every
man complete in Christ."
What does it mean to be "complete in Christ" as
a man?
As men, we play many important roles, which involve many
relationships such as husbands, fathers, providers, spiritual
leaders of our homes, co-workers, etc. These relationships
can only fulfill their potential as we become more Christ-like
in our attitudes and actions.
To accomplish the purpose of being made "complete in
Christ," we believe that it is necessary to provide opportunities
for men to interact with one another, both on a social basis
and also on a spiritual basis.
In Proverbs 27:17 we are told, "As iron sharpens iron,
so one man sharpens another."
Spiritually
Small groups of men are regularly being established. Their
primary purpose is to help men grow in their relationship
with God. A natural result of this is spiritually stronger
men, husbands, fathers, families and churches. Also, a small
group setting and experiences facilitates solid and deeper
friendships with other men.
Socially
The men of Two Rivers Church find available many activities
designed for fun and friendship. Softball, basketball, camping
trips, fishing expeditions are just a few of the many activities
to check out.
