Two Rivers Church is a non-denominational church but it voluntarily associates itself with a fellowship of like-minded churches located across the United States and Canada known as the Fellowship of Christian Assemblies. In particular, Two Rivers Church maintains close ties with Lake City Church in Madison, WI (www.lakecitychurch.org). They are our sending church and have helped Two Rivers in every conceivable way.

Two Rivers Church came into being through prayer. A number of pastors of this fellowship of churches sensed the Lord’s direction to start a church in the Phoenix metro area. They asked Pastor Tom Alexander and his family in November of 2003 to consider starting the church and they agreed to begin.

Once the decision was made that God was in this, miracles began to happen. Some of the biggest miracles involved a core group of six families that moved from Madison, Wisconsin to Gilbert, Arizona to be part of this new church. Others families in the area have come alongside to help and Two Rivers Church has moved from an idea in prayer to a reality.
